The ADDC seminar is the required seminar for those pursuing certification as a CDP Certified Dementia Practitioner and who qualify for CDP certification.

How to Register for an ADDC Seminar

There are two ways to register.

PATHWAY 1

Register directly for the ADDC seminar with a certified trainer.

PATHWAY 2

Register online for the ADDC seminar taught by NCCDP corporate staff.

Course Goals & Objectives

Our Corporate ADDC seminars are approved for the following CEUs:

  • 7 Nab Credits
  • 7 CEUs for NCCAP certifications
  • 7 CEUs for nurses in most states via The CEU Network
  • 7 CEUs for NCCDP certifications
 

If attending an ADDC seminar taught by an Approved Trainer, please check with that Trainer to see if their seminar is approved for CEUs.

Lynn Biot-Gordon, MSW CDP CADDCT CDCM CFRDT CDSGF is a Clinical Social Worker with a Master of Social Work degree. She maintains a private practice and is a consultant for long term care facilities which includes in-services on a variety of topics for residents, families, and health care staff. She is the founder of Gordon Social Work Consultants, the NCCDP, and ICCDP. Lynn is the Co-Founder and founder of NCCDP and ICCDP.

The tuition is $195.00 per person. You will receive an email confirmation of your registration. Once payment is received, you are enrolled unless otherwise notified. NCCDP reserves the right to cancel seminars based on insufficient enrollment. Registrants who need to cancel must provide NCCDP with written notice no later than one week prior to the seminar date. Cancellations are refundable less a $75.00 administrative charge. Continuing Education credits issued will be canceled for nonpayment of required fees.

IF NCCDP CANCELS THE CLASS:

The NCCDP reserves the right to cancel seminars due to insufficient enrollment, travel delays due to weather or other conditions, illness, injury, or any other unforeseen circumstance and will not be held liable for student’s time lost or travel costs.  You will be notified as soon as possible prior to the start of the seminar if the seminar is canceled.  We will assist you in rescheduling to attend another seminar. 

 

IF YOU CANCEL:

If you must cancel, please email nccdpoffice@nccdp.org.  There is a $75.00 per person cancellation fee. Once the seminar begins, there are no refunds.  If you paid via check, the refund will be processed and mailed to you within 60 days. If you paid via credit card, the refund will be processed through your credit card within two weeks of the seminar.
